Miles & Coltrane: Blue (.) is back for a limited run in Charlotte, NC and Indiegogo Campaign Fundraiser in preparation for its return to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August!
Miles & Coltrane: Blue (.) by Concrete Generation
captures the energy of the 1950’s, an era when America was rapidly changing. Jazz was the soundtrack of this era, and at the forefront of jazz music was trumpet blaring Miles Davis; and skillful saxophonist John Coltrane. They partnered soundscapes that would become the soundtrack to a social revolution.
Like Jazz, this stage production provides a unique experience each time and has “something new, always.” It is journey, through the lives of two of the most influential and controversial figures in jazz. Guided by award winning poets, musicians, dancers, and actors; we explore how they changed music and left a powerful legacy of jazz.
