Model and aspiring actress Brittney Quianna hasn’t had time for sun bathing and surfing since her relocation to Los Angeles from Charlotte, NC. Less than two months in the City of Angels and Brittney’s career is already taking flight in a major way. Her ambition is fueled by her faith and belief in the power and glory of God’s promises to her. Even though Brittney is starting over in a new city, with a new crowd, everything is falling right into place.
Brittney is known for her beauty, stellar runway walk, and dazzling photos, but she is about to show us a different side, a new aspect to her talents. Brittney is taking her career to a new level by enrolling in acting classes with world-renowned acting coach and author, Ivana Chubbuck. Ivana has coached celebrities like Halle Berry, Beyonce, and is the founder of “Ivana Chubbuck Studio” located in West Hollywood. Brittney is also working closely with film director John Singleton who has directed and produced Hollywood films such as Baby Boy, Fast and Furious and Poetic Justice.
“I’ve been doing a lot of networking,” Brittney says. “I have gotten the opportunity to meet John Singleton, who has directed so many popular movies. I’ve definitely been working closely with him and building a relationship, receiving advice, and listening.”
Although this small town girl has decided to pursue her dreams all the way across the country, leaving family and friends behind, she understands home is where the heart is. God is her safe haven even in the superficial and materialistic world in which she now finds herself. Brittney will never forget her faith, and gives advice to other young women who want to make their dreams a reality:
“Obedience is everything,” Brittney says. “Listen to God because he knows your desires and He has made a plan for each of us. We just have to be obedient to His calling. It’s that simple.”
Motivation is a key component to Brittney’s everyday life. Her motivation keeps her pressing towards her higher calling and this is only the beginning. We’re excited to see what comes next for Brittney Quianna.
“I think my motivation comes from purpose,” Brittney explains. “My purpose is to continue to show others who God is. Modeling and acting is just my platform for my purpose. We all have hopes and dreams, but God does everything. I just want people to have a relationship with Him because I promise you will never be the same. Just trust in him.”
