Getting sick of the same after work parties, events and happy hours that you go to week after week? Fear not, because Chateau Noir has created a “destination” for those of you who enjoy the combination of fine cuisine and live music, but hate the hustle and bustle of Uptown.
The event, titled Destination, will be held Saturday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. at The Orchard House in Concord, NC. The exclusive event is an elegant evening affair that will feature a Five Course Wine Dinner prepared by the Chateau Noir’s own Executive Chef Jay, along with live jazz music, a cigar lounge with Destination Blend Custom Cigars and after dinner entertainment.
The event is the first of many to be held by Chateau Noir. Their goal is to provide sophisticated event goers with a new, unique and memorable experience. Chef Jay exclaims, “Chateau Noir wants to provide a break from the daily and provide a true destination.” Each future event will vary in theme and offer a new exciting element, ranging from wine dinners, full masquerade balls and dance parties. Chef Jay continues, “We try to infuse every moment of the night’s event with engaging components and memorable experiences that you will be hard pressed to find at your typical happy hour.”
The reception for Destination will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., followed by dinner seating at 7:50 p.m., dinner service from 8:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. and after dinner entertainment from 11:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m. Live Jazz courtesy of 5th and York will play throughout the reception. After dinner entertainment will be provided by DJ Peace Parker. Additionally, there will be a spoken word lounge featuring the poetic talents of Concrete Generation’s Quentin “Q” Talley & Tavis Brunson.
Chateau Noir is a full service catering and event planning company located in Concord, NC. Chef Jay has been with the company for nine years and has received rave reviews for his work. The night of the event, Chef Jay will prepare a variety of exquisite courses, including a Spinach Salad with Caramelized Shallots and a Warm Pepper Red Wine Vinaigrette, Pan Seared Seafood Cake on a Sweet Corn Salsa and an assortment of Cake Truffles to top it off.
