The 4th Annual Charlotte Professional Networking Week
Provides Valuable Resources for Professionals and Small Businesses
Professional speaker, author and networking expert Carlos V. Davis and chief empowerment officer of Stand & Deliver, LLC, one of the region’s leading professional development firms, will host the Fourth Annual Charlotte Professional Networking Week Tuesday, January 16, 2018 through Saturday, January 20, 2018 in a variety of locations in the greater Charlotte metropolitan area.
The weeklong series of events is designed to connect professionals and entrepreneurs with the essential resources necessary for their success and development in the marketplace. Charlotte Professional Networking Week has a solid history of facilitating meaningful relationship building within the Queen City’s thriving business community, giving local professionals the much-needed professional networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
“It feels like we just started Charlotte Professional Networking Week last year,” says Davis. “For the event to have grown in the past four years to have both the city and prominent business entities supporting us is very humbling.”
Unlike typical professional development conferences, intentional networking, as the event title suggests, is incorporated into every event during Charlotte Professional Networking Week—with valuable information applicable to professionals from myriad industries. From information about raising investment capital to developing strategic partnerships, attendees will walk away from Charlotte Professional Networking Week with a wealth of knowledge they can start implementing immediately.
“We want to continue the grow the event each year, but we never want to lose the focus of giving a platform to where professionals can network and create collaboration opportunities for one another,” explains Davis.
Charlotte Professional Networking Week will include the following signature events:
- The Morning Exchange: A Networking and Knowledge Event (Tuesday, January 16, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. at Roc’s Jazz Bar, 1000 NC Music Factory Blvd.) Attendees will enjoy a continental breakfast followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring representatives from Keaton-Barrow Realty, Atrium Family Services, Western & Southern Life Insurance and The Women’s Business Center. Topics will include success and career growth.
- The Professional Opportunity Exchange (Tuesday, January 16, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at WeWork Charlotte, 615 S. College Street) This event will give attendees opportunities to network with one another and participating vendors/sponsors after business hours. In addition, there will be an opportunity for attendees to be interviewed by area corporations for business contracting and job opportunities via our Professional Speed Connection Sessions.
- Connecting The Dots: Professional Connections Luncheon (Thursday, January 18, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/South Park at Phillips Place, 6700 Phillips Pl Ct.) An opportunity for guests to mix, mingle and network with vendors and other attendees while enjoying a complimentary catered lunch.
- The Move and Shake Experience: A Professional Development Expo (Saturday, January 20, 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Carolinas College of Health Sciences, 1200 Blythe Blvd) This is an expo focused on providing professional resources and information through vendors, informative seminars/workshops and keynote speakers.
