Celebrating Leaders and Influencers in the Carolinas’ Black Community
Carolina STYLE Magazine announced today “STYLE in Black,” an initiative to honor outstanding individuals in the Black community who live in the Carolinas. Selected honorees will exhibit excellence in one of five areas—fashion and beauty; business; community service and the arts; media and creative Industries.
“We are excited to announce this initiative during black history month,” said Bridgette Wright, Editor-in-Chief of Carolina STYLE Magazine. “And to continue celebrating people in the black community after February, we are hosting an event to honor them in April.”
In April, Carolina STYLE Magazine will host events in several cities to honor those named to STYLE in Black including Charlotte, Charleston and Raleigh.
Nominations are currently being accepted on Carolina STYLE Magazine’s website at www.carolinastylemag.com/STYLEinBlack until February 16. Honorees will be announced online and social media every day from February 19 – 23.
