The Culinary Education Tour 2010 will bring together the leaders of today with the future leaders of tomorrow. The tour will include GED program providers, resume writing and interview specialist, job placement organizations, culinary and pastry chefs, food writers, food stylist, nutritionist, national culinary organizations, local farms, culinary educators, local restaurants and those that want to showcase their place in the culinary industry.

President of Château Noir, Michelle Jones says: “The best measure of success is the number of people each one of us can help.” Michelle continued “We will help by providing encouragement, direction and assistance to our future leaders of tomorrow; investing in someone else’s future is a priceless gift.”

The Culinary Education Tour 2010 will begin in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 2nd – 3rd at Freedom Hall 2500 E. Independence Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28205. Tour attendees ages 8-18 are admitted free. Amped-4-A-Cure, Inc. Hopes to Keep People ‘Amped’ in 2010

New Look, Same Mission: To Support Cancer Research Through Music

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (January 4, 2010) — While most people were busy finding that perfect New Year’s Eve outfit or developing their new year’s resolutions, the Amped-4-A-Cure (A4AC) team was focused on taking their efforts to the next level for 2010.  And the first step to achieving that goal is the re-launch the official Amped-4-A-Cure, Inc. website.

“The re-launch of the Amped 4-A-Cure website is a confirmation of growth, expansion and acceptance,” says Xavier Grier, A4AC‘s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We launched our first website June 1, 2009 and quickly outgrew the site due to an overwhelming response from the public and the amazing developments lead by the Amped 4-A-Cure leadership team.”

Now, when visitors click on www.amped4acure.org, they are immediately drawn into the movement. The site commands total attention, while users navigate through all the interactive components. For instance, the “featured artist” section allows each visitor to listen conveniently to the newest music from Amped featured artists. After satisfying your musical curiosity, you can shift gears to the “In honor of” section. Here visitors will experience a more personal account of cancer from individuals, including A4AC team members who have lost loved ones from cancer. In addition, guests are given the opportunity to get AMPED with the survivors who seek to share their inspiring story with the world. Other features of the new website include photos from the official “I’m Amped” Campaign as well as a listing of upcoming events.

“This is so much more than a re-launch to us,” explains Grier; “it is a continued step in our duty to support the efforts of cancer research as we all join together to defeat this disease.”

Visit www.amped4acure.org for more information on how to make a donation or join the movement.
